About the Business
Marc Williams, owner of MW Construction Inc, got his start in the contracting business when he began a three year drywall apprenticeship for the union in 1970. While working and learning the trade, Marc was given more in depth projects, moved up in the business and for the next 20 years would serve as superintendant over various job sites. Wanting to start his own business and offer a wider range of services, Marc moved to Salmon Idaho in 1987 with his wife and 2 children, where the rural atmosphere, small community, and building opportunities appealed to him.
After settling, Marc began his own business MW Drywall doing small remodels and repairs for people in the community. Over 24 years later, MW Drywall has grown into MW Construction Inc, building some of the finest homes in the Lemhi Valley from foundation to finish. Marc has also expanded the areas he serves to most of Custer County.
During his contracting career in Salmon, Marc has become a member of the 'National Association of Home Builders' and also takes an active role in the local 'Salmon River Builders Association' helping with various projects that benefit the community of Salmon.
Today 'MW' offers many construction services such as new homes, additons, remodels and he specializes in unique Old World Plaster, exterior stucco and cultured stone accents.
MW Construction Inc. specializes in single family custom homes in rural and remote locations in Salmon and surrounding areas. Marc will provide detailed and realistic estimation of building costs prior to commitment, cost-effective construction options, wide selection of premium building materials, and uses licensed and insured contractors and tradesman.
