In 2004, local contractors in the Lemhi Valley formed The Salmon River Builders Association (SRBA).
Their goal was to promote strong professional standards within the building industry. Builders, sub-contractors and other associates of similar industries comprise the SRBA.
Their mission is, "to provide education, information and networking opportunities to the home building industry in Lemhi County, Idaho."
Members of SRBA are also members of the National Association of Home Builders and the Idaho Building Contractors Association. This association brings together assets, strength, talent and of the building community. Through this relationship, SRBA has a stronger voice locally, statewide and on a national level.
SRBA works closely with local non-profit organizations and the school district. Our members donate their time and resources to the community.
Recent volunteer work includes re-siding the Lemhi County Fairground grandstand, working with the Lemhi Afterschool Program and installing playground equipment at City Park and Pioneer Elementary School. If a member of the community has a request for assistance must be submitted in writing to SRBA.
Becoming a member of the SRBA provides an individual builder with a network of fellow builders to provide insite and who share the same goals. An SRBA member application can be found and downloaded off of the SRBA webpage.
SRBA has countless associate members working with them to aid the community and help promote projects throughout the valley, these include building material specialists, electrical/plumbing & HVAC experts, real estate agents and companies, propane specialists, window/door companies, concrete/excavation companies, authorities on insulation, and septic system specialists.
Colaborating all of the above talents and trades makes for a tightly knit team of building professionals waiting to assist the Lemhi County.
